Lent is a
Liturgical Season
that consists of forty days of fasting, prayer, and penitence.
Lent begins on
Ash Wednesday
and concludes at sundown on
Holy Thursday.
The Liturgical color for the Season of Lent is violet. -
FORETOLD
Ash Wednesday is the beginning of Lent. Start your journey with Foretold, a Lenten video series that weaves together Old and New Testament stories that reveal Jesus as our salvation from the beginning of time. These stories will also teach you how to see God’s providence at work in your everyday life.
Remember that God is outside of time, and taking time to prepare your heart and mind (even a few days into Lent) will make a huge difference in your Lenten journey.
