This group provides opportunities for the bereaved to receive support while working through the changes in their lives by sharing their stories in a Faith community.

The loss of a loved one is never easy. We can become overwhelmed by our feelings of loss and grief.  Planning a funeral, taking care of financial or other details can be a temporary distraction. The family and friends that surround us at first eventually return to their lives, leaving many alone in their grief. Saint Leo the Great Bereavement Ministry would like to offer “A Way Forward”. 

Our Team of Bereavement Ministers will be holding
a six-week guided grief session for adults

Sessions will be held in the Parish Center at 50 Hurleys Lane

These sessions will provide a safe space to share what you are experiencing with others who are also grieving the loss of a loved one.  This is not therapy. Our hope is that by providing a safe and prayerful space we can accompany you on your journey.

This series is for those who have lost a spouse, parent, sibling, friend, etc.
